REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
CONSULTANT SERVICES

The Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Harbours and Railways has applied for financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the West Africa Transport and Transit Facilitation Project, with Construction of Satellite Truck Village near Tema Port – Ghana as a sub-project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services.

The services include Consulting Services for the Techno-Economic Feasibility Studies, Preliminary Design, Final Detailed Design, Preparation of Tender Documents and Supervision of Construction of Satellite Truck Village near Tema Port, Ghana. These services are expected to be carried out over a maximum period of three months from the month of September, 2008.

The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) now invites individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested Individual Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc.)

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004, (revised October 2006).

Expression of Interest must be delivered to the address below by Thursday, 18th September, 2008.
